How to find the history of recently opened files and folders in windows

If you've been working with a file the other day, but you can't remember where it is located, then this lifehack is for you. Windows has a useful feature that allows you to see a list of all files and folders that you have opened recently.

How to use it:

1. Press "Win + R".
2. Select "Execute".
3. Enter the command "shell:recent" or just "recent".
4. Click "OK".

A list of recent documents opens in chronological order. The file modification dates are also indicated there. The function is very similar to the browser history: just scroll down to find the documents that you opened a couple of days ago.
